Dash Kennedy was born Edmond Earl Williams IV in Bethesda, MD to Edmond Earl Williams III and Kathleen Kennedy. He grew up in Dallas/Fort-Worth, Texas. He earned the nickname Dash when a nearly fatal automobile accident left him in a coma. He vowed to recover – to learn to walk, talk again, and eventually pursue his dream of entertaining and inspiring the world. He grew to popularity after moving to New York, signing with Epic Records with LA Reid & Tricky Stewart. He is most commonly known for the hit single, “Night Of My Life” with Pauly D. After being involved musically with many other big name acts, Dash left New York & moved to California to get involved in his first love and passion, Film. Dash is actively engaged in acting, writing and producing.
